Candace received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at East Carolina University. She has over thirteen years of experience in the banking industry working with BB&T in its Commercial Banking segment, BB&T Capital Markets in its Capital Markets Corporate Banking segment, and, most recently, in the I-Banking space with Mizuho as its Business Manager for their North American Banking Oil & Gas division in Houston, TX. Candace is originally from Washington, NC and was appointed as a State Farm agent in December 2019 in her hometown where her family resides. Candace offers a unique viewpoint to the insurance industry, as she sat on the "other side of the table" during her banking career.
